PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIESVictoria Lambrozo encourages all of her students to become comfortable performing in front of an audience, since sharing the beauty and magic of music can be a source of great joy. She offers support and training for both student recitals and several competitions.
STUDENT RECITALSTwice each year — usually in January and late May — Victoria provides the opportunity for her students to perform for an audience of family, friends, and fellow students. Recent recitals have taken place at the Music Mansion in Providence, which is equipped with two grand pianos — a Steinway & Sons and a Mason & Hamlin. There is no additional cost to participate in the student recitals.
KEYS! MUSIC CHALLENGE FOR KIDSThis festival-style competition takes place in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, usually in late March or April. Students register with the sponsoring organization and pay a fee to participate. It includes performance in front of the audience and jury, adjudicators notes, a trophy for performance level, cash prizes for winners. Victoria attends the competition with her competing students whenever possible at no additional cost.
CRESCENDO INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITIONThis competition groups students of music by instrument, age, and level of experience. During the first round, students compete live in front of a jury. Winners from the first round are invited to perform at Carnegie Hall. There is an application and a fee associated with the competition.
