PREPARING FOR A RECITAL:
THINGS TO KNOW BEFOREHAND
1. The recital is a formal event. Please dress appropriately.
No sneakers, no sweats, and no jeans. If you have questions about what is appropriate for the occasion, please reach out to the teacher.
2. Arrive 15 minutes early to warm-up and get ready.
3. Parking on the street is free, but please make sure to park in allowed spots.
4. All family and friends are welcome.
Admission is free and we don't restrict the number of guests.
5. You are welcome to bring food if you wish to, but not obligated at all.
6. Please supervise your younger guests to provide a pleasant environment for all and decrease distractions for the performers.
7. Applauding is a wonderful way to cheer the performers.
Please do not shout and whistle - we are creating a formal classical atmosphere
8. Refreshments are served after the concert.
9. Do not stress the kids out ahead of the performance.
Make sure to get a good night sleep, do not feed them the foods that might upset their stomachs, most importantly- do not stress them in any way. IT IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO MAKE THE EXPERIENCE FUN AND PLEASANT to set them up for success.
